What is there to see at the Fukuyama Automobile and Clock Museum? (Highlights)

Classic Cars
Antique clock

There are three personal attractions of the Fukuyama Automobile and Clock Museum, whose catchphrase is “Ride, see, touch and photograph”, as follows.

①You can ride in a classic car!
②Exhibition of wax dolls and retro Showa-era household goods and appliances.
③Bonnet bus ride (test drive)
The following is a one-by-one introduction to the following topics.

①You can ride in a classic car!

First of all, classic cars are on display, not only domestic and imported cars, but also old ones! Some of the cars on display were made before the war! There was a wide variety of cars, including Nissan’s Fairlady series, domestic cars such as Toyota’s first generation Crown, and Ford and Peugeot!

Moreover, although some of the cars cannot be ridden due to preservation issues, most of them can be ridden!

② Exhibition of wax dolls and retro Showa-era household goods and appliances

In addition to classic cars and antique clocks, “wax dolls” and household goods and appliances that evoke the Showa period were also on display.

In particular, the “Deaf Dolls” were former President Obama, Lincoln, MacArthur, and in Japan, Shigeru Yoshida.

It was so realistically made that it looked as if it could start moving at any moment!

Unfortunately, there was no “wax doll” of Tokugawa Ieyasu, but it was on loan at Amagasaki Castle in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture (until March 2024)!

③Ride on a bonnet bus (test ride)

The Fukuyama Automobile and Clock Museum has two bonnet buses, and visitors can experience riding in them four times a year!

Reservations are not required, and you can experience it if you come on the day of the event!
